Mentored novices waterfowl hunt planned

Idaho Fish and Game is offering a "first-time hunter" waterfowl hunt at the Hagerman Wildlife Management Area.

This special hunt is open to all 2009 hunter education graduates 10 years old or older. The 22 hunters chosen by random drawing will be mentored by seasoned hunters who will provide the retriever dogs, calls and decoys.

The deadline to apply is October 1 for this November hunt.
