Waterfowl Hunters Need Reservations
Oct. 01, 2008Hunters planning to bag a few ducks or geese at the Key Pittman and Overton Wildlife Management Areas on opening day of their respective seasons will need to make reservations before they do so. At Key Pittman reservations are needed only on opening day of the duck and goose seasons, but at Overton reservations are required for opening day of both the duck and goose seasons and for the remainder of the waterfowl season.
The Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) is advising waterfowl hunters that below normal water supplies experienced this summer will negatively impact wetland habitat conditions and waterfowl hunting opportunities at the Carson Lake and Pasture this fall.
