Waterfowl Hunters Need Reservations

Hunters planning to bag a few ducks or geese at the Key Pittman and Overton Wildlife Management Areas on opening day of their respective seasons will need to make reservations before they do so. At Key Pittman reservations are needed only on opening day of the duck and goose seasons, but at Overton reservations are required for opening day of both the duck and goose seasons and for the remainder of the waterfowl season.

YOUTH WATERFOWL HUNT SLATED FOR SOUTHERN COUNTIES - Feb. 21, 2010
Young waterfowl hunters will have flyways in Lincoln and Clark counties all to themselves during a special two-day youth waterfowl season scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 13 & 14. The season is open to hunters 15 years of age and younger, but each youth must be accompanied by an adult who is at least 18 years old. Adults are not allowed to hunt during this season, however.
